Police Officer Visit

Faribault Police Officer Marty visited our classroom. He told us about all the duties he has a police officer. Officer Marty showed us his uniform and all the tools he using. He also showed us his really cool police car!!! Thank you, Officer Marty!! We learned a lot about being a police officer.
Faribault State Bank
Community Helpers
We walked downtown to the State Bank of Faribault. We learned about all the different jobs people have at the bank. While there we got to walk through the underground tunnel, observe a coin sorting machine, watch the bank tellers wait on customers and walk into the vault. We had so much fun!!! Thank you to the State Bank for letting us visit their bank!!!!
Fire Station Visit
Community Helpers
We walked to the Fire Station to visit our fire fighting friends. The fire fighters showed us the really cool equipment they use to keep themselves safe in a fire. In a movie we watched, Sparky taught us many fire safety rules. The best part of our trip was looking at all the fire trucks and equipment vehicles the fire fighters use!! Thank you for letting us visit the fire station!!!
Father VanDen Broeke
Angels
Father VanDen Broeke visited our classroom. We learned a lot about angels, especially our guardian angel. We made halos because we all want to be holy like the angels in heaven. Thank you for teaching us about angels, Father Nick!!!!
